Machine learning | Deep tech | Industrial process | Purecontrol raises €1.7 million

Rennes, France, July 2, 2021, Purecontrol is continuing its strong development and has just completed a new round of funding, bringing cumulative investments to €1.7 million. This startup from the Rennes ecosystem is revolutionizing industrial control and regulation systems by relying on technologies derived from artificial intelligence (machine learning and deep tech).

1.7 million euros is the cumulative amount that Purecontrol has just raised, confirming the excellent start to the year of this startup at the service of the energy transition of industries. Among the main players in this round of funding, we should mention the OkWind Group, BNP, CIC and BPI. In this strategic period, Purecontrol was also able to count on the help and support of the Brittany Region, Rennes Métropole, the Rennes St Malo Lab experimental fund and the Poool.

This fundraising will allow the company to accelerate the deployment of its solution for wastewater treatment plants but also to address new markets such as drinking water treatment, incineration and methanization plants, other areas of regulatory complexity.

The company, which currently employs 16 people, also plans to double its current workforce by the end of 2022, mainly in strategic positions as mathematicians and salespeople, including 1 R&D director and 1 development director.

As part of this fundraising, we can also note the entry into the capital of a business angel Sylvain Richert, who will make it possible, in addition to financing, to support the ambition and financial strategy of Purecontrol to make it a leader in solutions for the regulation, supervision and management of industrial processes.

A strategic alliance with the OkWind Group

This fund raising also marks the entry into the capital of the OkWind Group and the strategic alliance between these two very fast-growing companies, which provide innovative solutions for energy-consuming industrial processes. The OKWind Group, based in Torcé and specialized in solar tracker technology, aims to become one of the world leaders within 5 years.
