Purecontrol and ENGIE join forces to simplify and democratize electrical erasure

Faced with the increased risks of electricity shortages linked in particular to the energy crisis, the need for electrical flexibility is intensifying. To respond quickly and effectively to these challenges, Purecontrol and ENGIE are joining forces in order to simplify and maximize the erasure mechanism while guaranteeing continuity of service. A turnkey solution for industries and communities.

RTE* reports a need for energy flexibility resources of 17 GW in 2050, compared to the 3 GW possible today*. This winter's energy crisis shows it: all flexibility resources must be put to use to ensure a balance of supply and demand on the electrical network in real time. There is a real need to increase the activatable volume to meet these challenges in the short and long term.

To answer it, ENGIE and Purecontrol combine their solutions in order to simplify and automate the use of large-scale electrical erasure. Local authorities, water players and manufacturers will thus be able to benefit from the association of the two companies and from the synergy of their solutions.

The ENGIE Nextflex solution provides a decentralized electrical flexibility aggregator activity for electricity production or extraction sites. Thanks to its expertise, ENGIE contracts reliable deletion formats with flexibility providers, and ensures personalized support and monitoring of operations.

Purecontrol's modeling and management technology manages the erasure request from RTE, and analyzes in real time the possibility of deleting while guaranteeing the continuity of the service. The solution then automatically adjusts the operation of processes and regulations to carry out, without risk, the requested deletion.
